The elevation certificate, the flood zone, how the lot drains and what the water actually did in the last storm. This is the difference between a good buy and an expensive lesson here, and it is the reason to have somebody local rather than a search portal.

Well, septic and access
Much of Taylor County is on well and septic rather than utilities, and a fair amount of land is reached by easement rather than county road. All of that is checkable before you commit, and all of it is worth checking.
